Here are some of the recent activities that our staff have contributed towards:
CISV leads and inspires actions for a more just and peaceful world. It is a global community of volunteers who create opportunities for all ages to learn the excitement and enrichment of cultural diversity, thanks to educational programs.
The nursing and care home allows residents to enjoy all sorts of activities. The residents can play board games under the guidance of volunteers.
Natuurpunt works for more and better nature for everyone. Thanks to volunteers they can open up nature reserves for everyone, to enjoy, study or to lend a hand in management.
Zorgboerderij De Kampenhoeve Ster vzw offers therapy to persons with a mental or physical disability by means of donkeys on their donkey farm. This can range from brushing and stroking to practicing certain exercises while walking on an donkey's back.
De Poel is a socially committed, professional, personal and well-being enterprise for adults with a mental disability. They can go for both day support and housing support.
Animal Shelter Zemst
Volunteers perform ad hoc tasks, like: walking with the dogs, cleaning the animal enclosure and giving the animals food.
Collection of toys
In order to support the sick children, Robert Half has collected toys. We handed over the nice toys - and chocolate - ourselves.
Red Cross Flanders
Our colleagues donated blood to the Red Cross Flanders. Because you can just save lives by donating blood, plasma or platelets.
