Q: What is Desktop as a Service (DaaS)?

Desktop as a Service (DaaS) is a solution that allows remote candidates to access web-based systems in a virtual environment. The interface is identical to Window 10.

Q: Is Desktop as a Service (DaaS) secure?

Our solution has enterprise security tools installed and are backed by Robert Half’s Security Operations Center, which includes 24x7 monitoring supported by world-class threat intelligence for rapid response to security-related events. Documents and data can’t be saved to a Robert Half-issued workspace.

Q: What happens with a candidate’s online desktop and loaner laptop once their assignment ends?

When a candidate’s assignment ends, please promptly notify your local Robert Half staffing professional. We’ll ensure as soon as possible that their online desktop and all its components are erased. If the candidate has a Robert Half-issued device, we’ll remotely wipe the device when required. We’ll also provide the candidate with instructions for returning the loaner laptop to our office.
