StatoilHydro has established a global Financial Supply Chain organisation, bringing together accounts payable, accounts receivable, the payment factory and in-house bank.
The in-house bank plays a crucial role as worldwide cash management service provider.

Currently, the In-house Bank department of StatoilHydro in Mechelen, is looking for a (m/f): Junior Cash Manager


Function

You are part of a team of five Cash Managers reporting to the In-house Bank Manager;

As a Junior Cash Manager you will be trained and supported to gradually take on the responsibilities of a Cash Manager:

You are responsible for the global Financial Supply Chain services delivered to a portfolio of StatoilHydro entities, with a specialised focus on cash management

  • You are the principal advisor for your internal customers for all Financial Supply Chain related issues;
  • You analyse, implement and follow up on optimal Financial Supply Chain solutions in line with business requirements and corporate policies;
  • You report on Financial Supply Chain solutions that deviate from the corporate standard and ensure sufficient control and security.

You ensure a professional operational relationship with one of our main cash management banks

  • You are the main contact person for cash management operations;
  • You establish and maintain a Service Level Agreement;
  • You report on quality of delivered services on a regular basis.

As a key resource in our organisation, you take the role of project manager for Financial Supply Chain projects or you report to a project manager in case of wider scope projects;

  • You define the scope and different levels of project planning;
  • You involve a multidisciplinary team and coordinate deliveries from different resources;
  • You ensure training and support after implementation.

 

Profile

  • Master degree in Economics or Finance;
  • A first professional experience in a multinational, bank or consulting firm is an asset;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Strong communicator;
  • Critical mindset;
  • Team player who can work autonomously;
  • Strong interest in project management;
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset;
  • Good MS Office skills.
